Nourishing (Plant food) - coffee farming

A healthy and “happy” coffee plant is one that is able to produce the greatest number of quality seeds. There are three main factors influencing the “happiness” of a plant: genetics, the environment, and applied agricultural management.

We endeavour our farmers to select the best seeds to yield healthy beans.

The soil of our coffee plantations are enriched with raw materials from farms.

The benefit of using farm scraps as a fertilizer is that it adds organic components to the soil, which helps improving drainage, water retention and aeration. By using natural compost, we stimulate the growth of microorganisms beneficial to coffee plants.

We create natural compost from dry leaves, cut grass, vegetable scraps and food scraps. Animal manure, such as sheep, chickens, ducks, pigs, cattle, horses, goats, is then mixed in and composted for growing crops, including coffee trees, while helping farmers save the cost of buying fertilizer and reduce cooking waste.
